About Nick
Nick Rothenberg founded 2Be in 2003, also leveraging partnerships with leading consultants and consulting companies. Nick has a long history of focusing on the human dimension of organizations. His expertise draws on an advanced degree in anthropology, a successful career as an entrepreneur and business leader, and management of creative and technical teams.
Nick was an early internet pioneer and was a managing partner at one of the first internet service companies to go public in 2000. He helped oversee the development of new media channels for clients like DirecTV, The Guggenheim Museum, Hard Rock Cafe, Kaiser Permanente and Paramount. He has also been extensively involved with nonprofit entities, helping them to maximize their online and offline business models in support of their mission.
Nick is a graduate of Harvard University and holds a Master's in Anthropology from the University of Southern California (USC). Nick also served as Assistant Director of the USC E-Lab, where he worked on groundbreaking efforts to build the first online communities. He has been featured in Inc. Magazine, Los Angeles Magazine, Oregon Business, The London Times, The Wall Street Journal and WIRED Magazine, and has been previously listed among the Top 100 Business Entrepreneurs by Los Angeles Magazine and the Los Angeles Business Journal.
